Welcome to SafeNight Respite Care Services!
Respite care is designed to give primary caregivers a short break from the duties of care. The length of respite care may be a few hours or a few days, depending on the situation and needs of the caregiver.
Caregivers are most commonly parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, and other professionals.
Respite care can be planned ahead for scheduled events, or used in times of crisis or emergency when other options are not available.
We have been working in the field of health and social services for many years, and currently contract with state goverment agencies, non-profit organizations, and other support-based companies.
Additional information about our services is available from the Main Menu under “Pages”, or feel free to call us at (520) 249-6925 for availability and questions.
A couple have 2 children ages 3 and 7. A recent death in the family requires them to travel for several days out of state. Respite care services may be used to provide supportive care for the children.
A couple have 2 children ages 6 and 8. The father is currently away on business and the mother has an appointment that will last 4 hours. Respite care may be used to provide care for the children and provide transportation to sports practice for the older child.
A grandmother has been caring for her 10 year old grandson. Recent health concerns require a hospital stay. Respite care may be used to provide care for the child to support and promote the grandmothers healing so that she may return to caring for her grandson
A couple have 3 children ages 5, 7, and 14. The 14-year-old child has been diagnosed with ADHD and Bipolar and requires additional attention on a daily basis from parents. Respite care may be used to care for the 14-year-old and allow the parents to rest, relax, spend time with the younger children, and catch-up with household activities.
A couple has an 8-year-old Autistic child. The child’s behaviors have recently been escalating, and the parents stress and anxiety is increasing. Respite care may be used to give the parents a needed break from providing care to regenerate and restore their ability to provide care.
